XFP (XForms)

XFP allows for building complex, multi-step workflows without needing to write code. It’s a powerful tool often used for things like:

  • Routing submissions to specific teams or departments
  • Flagging submissions based on conditions
  • Auto-sending confirmation emails
  • Assigning a case number
  • Updating internal systems like a CRM
  • Triggering follow-up forms
  • Integrating with external systems like payment gateways or APIs

Workflows can include conditional logic, email and SMS (Text) notifications, and data integrations—all built through a visual, no-code interface.

This helps to:

  • Avoid mistakes through structured, validated processes
  • Ensure accountability with audit trails and clear handovers
  • Meet legal, compliance, and accessibility standards required in the public sector
note

Similar in concept to what I’ve done previously using WPForms for WordPress.
