XFP (XForms)
XFP allows for building complex, multi-step workflows without needing to write code. It’s a powerful tool often used for things like:
- Routing submissions to specific teams or departments
- Flagging submissions based on conditions
- Auto-sending confirmation emails
- Assigning a case number
- Updating internal systems like a CRM
- Triggering follow-up forms
- Integrating with external systems like payment gateways or APIs
Workflows can include conditional logic, email and SMS (Text) notifications, and data integrations—all built through a visual, no-code interface.
This helps to:
- Avoid mistakes through structured, validated processes
- Ensure accountability with audit trails and clear handovers
- Meet legal, compliance, and accessibility standards required in the public sector
note
Similar in concept to what I’ve done previously using WPForms for WordPress.
