WCAG 2.2 was published on the 5 October 2023 (05/10/2023) and updated on the 12 December 2024 (12/12/2024).

Structure

Principles

WCAG is broken down into 4 principles:

  • Principle 1 - Perceivable
  • Principle 2 - Operable
  • Principle 3 - Understandable
  • Principle 4 - Robust

Guidelines

Within each of the 4 principles are guidelines that act as the critia which needs to be met to compile with the WCAG Standards.
